Week Six Entry

In today's tutorial we covered the topic: 'Digital Drawing and Painting.' We had the opportunity to work with a very good program, Coral Painter X. This program is used on the computer where you have the ability to use the style of painting and drawing but using the mouse of your computer or the Wacom tablet, which is a useful tool when using this program. The Wacom tablet, was at first very difficult to get used too, though as the lesson went on I become more used to using the tablet.

With the program Coral Painter X, there were many different techniques available to create the effect of a painting or drawing. It was amazing to see that by using a computer program you could make a work or photo look like a painting or drawing.

As one of my artworks I am going to use Coral Painter X and drawing inspiration from the Hall's Gap and Daylesford photos I am going to try and make them appear as if they are paintings and not photos. I am going to make an emphasis on the brushstrokes being noticeable and changing the lighting effects.
