Week Eleven Entry: FINAL WEEK
Well for today's lesson we just had the chance to work further on our final pieces. There were some people that presented and there work was fabulous! They had come up with some amazing ideas and their presentations were great. I really enjoyed watching their presentations and looking at their works. I thought that they were so creative and different. They inspired me further, which I really need at this point. Getting to the end of semester and finishing of the final pieces, I am struggling of thinking of how I can present my finals. I have some finals complete though they have not been displayed or printed as yet. I also am still deciding on the one's I actually want to present.
This one I am defiantly going to submit as a final. I really like this work as it is really interesting. I have made the twelve apostles look like it is in a cove, and that it is all closed in. I really like this as I think it looks more beautiful and it would be easier to see them. This is also a beautiful aspect of Australia and many people travel to see the twelve apostles. I want to present this work as a panoramic view, as a long photograph.
This is another one of my finals. I think this photograph is really peaceful and interesting. Though I think by possibly cropping and just focusing on one particular part instead of the whole image, it may create more interest. I'm not sure how I am going to present this work.
These four images are very similar, though I like them all. I am thinking of possibly putting them all together somehow and presenting them as one final work. They look a little 'spooky' to me, though I really like them as they are different to all my other works. I like looking at the view of the evening with the sun setting as all my other works are focused on the daytime. I am going to play around with these works to see what I can come up with and what would be the best way to present them. I may though only end up using one image out of the four.
These are two artworks I am still working on, though I am not sure about them as I think they are too similar to the previous one with the creek in the foreground. I may just try a different work all together. I think these two are too similar. Though I do like them, I just think they are not as powerful as the other works previously shown. I am still going to continue to work on them and try and come up with some different pieces. I am still keen to try and create some form of movie or slide-show though it all depends on how much time is left. I also may think about presenting one of my works in black and white. I still have some further work to do over the next week, to then hand in five final pieces for my folio and presentation. Overall this semester and unit has been very interesting, I have developed my skills with using many various digital computer programs to produce digital art. I have learnt so much about using the computers and various programs to develop interesting and different artworks. This semester has been a lot of work, though it has been very enjoyable.
Thanks Jenna!
