Week Ten Entry

MOVIE ART: Continued...

In the art workshop today we focused again on movie art within the tutorial component. We looked at more film art but current artists. It was very interesting to see the different effects and themes that these artists focused on. They were quite strange and unusual, though it was great to see.

Today in the workshop I worked on some more finals, I used Photoshop and Coral Painter X, though I struggled a little with using Coral Painter X. I enjoyed today's as it was very productive, I created many artworks that I think work really well, though they may need some further development. Here are my works that I worked on in today's workshop: '

This is one of my works; I really like this one as it is a photograph of the sunset and the Murry River in Echuca. I have then put a layer over the top and it is of the trees that surround the Murry River. I think this is very effective and gives it a 'colder, more mystical' feeling. I think this is a good work, and it is very different to my other final pieces.

This one is very similar to the one above, though I have just changed the opacity of the trees, as they are not as noticeable in this work. I think I like the one above better.

This image has the same idea as the ones above, though I have cropped the image and distorted the colours of the trees that are layered over the sunset. I really like this work as I get the feeling of a 'thunder storm.' I think this is also a very different work from my other final pieces.

This is another work I am working on, I like this work though I think it may be too similar to the other final pieces. I have cropped the image and using layers, I have added in the waterfall and lowered the opacity of it. I think this makes the whole overall image more interesting, though I'm not sure it is going to work.

Overall it was a very productive day and I really enjoyed the lesson. I still have some more work to do on all of the works and I have to start thinking of how I am going to present the works.
