The Moving Image: Continued...
In today's tutorial we looked at Video Artists such as; Peter Callas who's work to me looked like 'pop art' in film. It was very colourful, and had the appearance of a comic with the cartoon style, though I think it suited his work. It was very interesting and the sound suited his work very well, his themes were very detailed one film we watched was about the Australian cultural identity. The other artist was Tony Oursler, his work was also very different and unusual (AVAA).
In today's tutorial I worked further on developing my panoramic view of photographs. I worked with images from the 12 Apostles, it was a very productive lesson and I feel like I achieved a lot in the lesson. I think though this work needs something more and that it is not quite finished yet...
This is the first one I worked on, I am trying to create a panoramic view, though I think it needs further development.
If you look closely at this work I put a filter over the top called "Artistic Smudge Stick." I think it gives it a nice effect and makes the work more interesting and beautiful. I still want to keep on working on the image to see if I can develop it further.
